  The purpose of the Office of Research and Publishing is to lead innovation through the applied research activities of faculty, staff and students with industry and community partners.
We do this by providing local and regional organizations with direct access to MKC City College’s leading-edge knowledge, skills, and resources. In turn, our faculty and students have the opportunity to participate in real-world research activities which enrich MKC City College’s environment, curriculum and culture.
We are involved in a wide range of research activities, including:
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Health and Community
- Environmental Technologies in Energy
- Teaching and Learning
- Publishing Books
We promote MKC City College’s research capacity by developing research partnerships with local and regional organizations. This involves a variety of activities such as writing research proposals to procure R&D funding for personnel, equipment and resources, managing on-going research projects, and evolving the college’s research strategy and policies.
Mission: Through applied research and innovation we will mobilize MKC City College's people and physical resources to:
- Enrich student learning
- improve student preparedness for the workplace
- enhance faculty and staff development
- support social and economic growth in the external community
Vision: To be the leading centre in Larnaca Cyprus for applied research services, from concepts to commercialization, by leveraging MKC City College resources to accelerate innovation through collaboration.
